This is a hike in the eastern slope of Páramo Verjón in the municipality of Choachí (Cundinamarca). The ascent starts at 3100 m and the trail reaches a stunning viewpoint of the Rio Negro valley at 3500 meters going through the mountain forest sitting on the peaks of the upland. In the rocky walls we will find numerous waterfalls. A great part of the year the area is misty with running clouds giving the area a special charm.

The trail is a cobbled paved path which starts in the area of cultivation than goes through a mountain forest and ends in the páramo of Verjón. The distance is 8km and it ends in the road Bogotá – Choachí. The hike is considered of intermediate difficulty level and takes around 5 hours.

The cost of the hike includes transportation and guidance. Each person must bring a lunch and be prepared for weather changes.
